On the teachers page on Charles Drew Elementary page we see that the students partake in Science, Reading, Math ,and Language Arts. Science being taught throughout the entire class as well as the students participating in science fairs throughout the schools. Learning core curriculum and developmental skill within the reading subjects; Language Arts isn't taught until students reach the first grade and is continued on up throughout their school career.
I envision myself using technology to accomplish professional responsibilities more efficiently and effectively by using Microsoft excel to make schedules and plan out my days accordingly. As well as numerous other apps to type discussions and effectively communicating with peers and coworkers like Word, or even Google drives. Of course my cellular device to make important calls within the office and maybe even the app Skype in order to communicate with peers or coworkers that are in other areas or even overseas to keep them up to date with dealings of the job.
In the Technology Sandbox technology that I experienced that I feel could be used throughout the classroom would most definitely be the smart. Although I have seen a smart board within the classrooms I've never seen all of the cool ways to work the board as well how you can not only make the learning for the kids fun, but allow the classroom to participate with everyone interactively. Another piece of technology I enjoyed and thought that would be helpful within the classroom would be the Osmo, I think this would be more helpful when geared towards the primary learning classes. Which would help more with learning numbers,shapes, and even colors while still making learning fun for the kids much like a game.
